WCSU hosts a ‘Sip & Paint’ on Dec. 10

DANBURY, Connecticut — Western Connecticut State University’s Department of Art invites the public to participate in a “Sip & Paint” from 7 – 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, in the university’s Design Studio, Room 145 in the Visual and Performing Arts Center, 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury. The event features painting, music, wine and light refreshments. Tickets are $25 per person (age 21 and over only) and can be purchased at wcsuvpac.eventbrite.com.

The WCSU “Sip & Paint” is hosted by professional artist and WCSU alumna Jessica Bartlet, who earned a Master in Fine Arts degree from WCSU. This event is open to participants of all artistic levels and backgrounds, from the seasoned to the beginner, to participate in a shared art experience in a fun and relaxed studio environment. Basic painting materials are provided, but participants may also bring their own art supplies. Masks are required. Tickets are also available at www.eventbrite.com/e/sip-paint-tickets.
