DANBURY, Connecticut — Western Connecticut State University’s Department of Music is celebrating a Grammy Award win for faculty member Zaccai Curtis, whose “Cubop Lives!” was named Best Latin Jazz Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held recently in Los Angeles. The album is a retro-style tribute to performers of the Afro-Cuban genre and topped the charts for four weeks last summer. Congratulations, Zaccai!
