WestConn is pleased to share an opportunity to join Boehringer Ingelheim’s free virtual Sustainability Summit on October 27.
Faculty Anna Malavisi, Shahab S. Band, and Emad AbouElgheit will join alumni Nikita S. Karim and Emily J. Kappel for the deep-dive session, “AI as an Enabler of Sustainable Impact,” from 11:00–11:45 a.m. ET. The discussion will explore how AI can advance sustainability while addressing trade-offs, ethical considerations, responsible adoption, governance, and transparency.
From 1:30–2:30 p.m. ET, President Jesse M. Bernal will join leaders from Boehringer, Coca-Cola, Merck, Catchafire, and City of Danbury for the panel discussion, “Shaping the Future of Sustainability Leadership.”
The full summit runs from 10:00 a.m.–2:45 p.m. ET, bringing together industry and civic leaders and higher education colleagues from across the world.
